So, How Far Have You Got Theo?
When I first posted the video I made about this project in May 2025 (it's on this site's homepage), a friend reached out to me, and this is what she shared:
"Thank you for your work. It is so needed. I am one of the single mums who you mentioned.
My partner killed himself because of all the reasons you outline.
My children no longer have a father, and my son is desperately searching for a strong male role model in his life.
Your work is so needed and valuable to reach men who are lost in the void.
Thank you for helping them home."
It brought me to tears.
I realised, this isn't just a documentary series. It's a lifeline I can throw to men.
Men who suffer in silence. And to the families, partners and communities that often get left in the wake.
And to the amazing women, like the lady above, who are raising kids on their own.
I've already raised £67,000, including my own money.
As you can see in the video above, so far I've filmed 43 full-length interviews with contributors: fathers, therapists, mothers, brothers, survivors, and coaches.
All of them share stories that will move you.
Stories of rock bottom.
Stories of breakthrough.
Stories of never giving up.
Stories of hope.
Stories of forgiveness.
And I have successfully recreated the energy and container - through video - which we create every Saturday morning, holding space for the 40-60 men who turn up to our men's group.
But I'm out of runway.
To give this project the space it needs to be incredible rather than 'just good', I've shot as much as I can here now, and I need to travel to film some more amazing contributors.
And I'm going to need a budget for post-production (editing, sound, music), tech infrastructure (website, streaming, CRM), marketing & distribution, etc.
And having already spent seven years working on the movie and docu-series 'Time of the Sixth Sun', I know what this is going to take to get it launched!
So I'm looking for help finishing and launching this in early 2026...
